Adam Smith saw capitalism a key liberating society from the Royal monopolies of commerce and manufacture ... what we are seeing could better be described as self-cannibalistic-financial-capitalism ... it's completely unrelated to the means of production, the work force, the line of production and commerce ... as Marx would have said ...
