Brazilians, when in the US, don't throw trash on the streets, do not park their cars on the sidewalk, pick up their dog pooh, respect traffic laws and all that ... things that they simply don't do in their own country ... You can be sure that a corrupt police officer and former member of a Brazilian Death squad would never behave in the US of A as he did in his country ... if he escaped to the US he must have had every criminal reasons to do so ... In fact, you don't know anything about him and based on your feelings of friendship, you assumed he was speaking the truth although completely incongruous ...
