Hmm...re. criss-crossing, interesting point. I wonder if they could do the aggregation on the client rather than the server. E.g. for the ones that are web pages, they could have the web page do ajax calls to each of the sites. A look at the page source might tell. For an app, one might check what network connections it was making.
Re. censorship -- I periodically point out, on articles about certain non-mainstream medicinal remedies, that promoting unsupported medical claims will tarnish the site's reputation, and may do actual harm. I've never had such a post get through.”
